Process water

RO and ultrapure-water tanks.

Stored reverse-osmosis, distilled or polished water may need microbiological control without compromising downstream use. Ozone can be applied in recirculation or before the use point.

Process water

Stored high-purity water still needs control

Assess tank volume, turnover, material, required purity and downstream process sensitivity. Monitor transfer and residual; where the end use cannot accept oxidant, include a removal step before use.

Application point

Residual must suit the final use

In some lines, even a small oxidant residual affects the product or downstream equipment. Design includes residual removal before a sensitive use point.

Injection point, mixing and contact volume are designed for actual flow. Undissolved gas and any residual are managed before water returns to the process.

Sample tank, return and use point

Check microbiology, dissolved ozone and process-specific criteria at defined sampling points.

Sampling points and comparison conditions are defined before claiming a reduction or saving. This helps separate treatment effects from normal process variation.
